FAQ
What is Aro?
Aro is an AI friend that joins your Minecraft: Java Edition world as another player, talks with you, plays on its own and remembers what you share.
What can Aro do?
In your world, Aro explores, gathers wood, starts farms and builds a small home when you ask. Aro also chats with you in the game and in the Aro app. Fighting isn’t part of the beta.
Does Aro remember me?
Yes. Aro remembers what you talked about and what you did together, from one play session to the next.
What do I need to play?
A Windows 10 or 11 PC with Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21–1.21.11, 26.1–26.1.2 or 26.3 preview, and a singleplayer world. On 26.3, some newer blocks and game mechanics may not work yet. No mods or server needed. Bedrock isn’t supported, and Mac is coming soon.
Who is Aro for?
Minecraft players aged 16 and older. If you’re 16 or 17, check with a parent or guardian first.
Is Aro safe and private?
Aro reminds you that you’re talking to an AI, stays out of romance and sexual content, and points you to crisis support if you need it. We never sell your chats or Aro’s memories, and you choose in Settings whether they help improve Aro.
How do I get help?
